Back to School with Mental Health Matters & Wellness Connection Council

The Mental Health Matters (MHM) Education Program has kicked off in local schools throughout Santa Barbara County. In the fall quarter alone, the MHM volunteer team will be teaching the 5-day MHM-6 in thirty-four (34) sixth grade classrooms and our MHM-HS curriculum in forty-one (41) high school health classes –  well on our way to bring Mental Health Matters to more than 3,000 students this academic year!

THANK YOU to all of our dedicated teaching team members, you’re positively impacting the lives of so many in our community, one sea star at a time. To learn more about the MHM Program, CLICK HERE.

In Fall of 2021, the Wellness Connection Council welcomed 50 local high school students to their leadership council from 6 high schools throughout Santa Barbara County. We’re excited to see members of our Wellness Connection Council outreaching to their peers recently at Santa Barbara High School.

Thank you Charlotte and Dylan for promoting the Council and sharing youth mental health resources on your campus! CLICK HERE to learn more about our newest program, Wellness Connection.
